His expertise spans a wide range of areas, such as tour leading and travel operations, hospitality management, destination management, ecotourism, tourism planning and packaging, field guiding and leadership, and the intersection of tourism and climate change.

A key focus of Denis's work is on sustainable tourism practices and conservation awareness, emphasizing inclusive approaches that foster positive community participation.
