Eric Kamoga
Born and raised in Kampala, Eric is an enthusiastic tourist guide dedicated to creating unforgettable safari experiences. With a deep passion for storytelling, he excels at weaving the rich history and vibrant culture of Uganda into engaging narratives that captivate his guests. Eric's strong organizational and public speaking skills allow him to deliver informative and entertaining tours, making every safari a memorable adventure.
Eric's journey into safari guiding began while he was focused on electrical engineering, often feeling confined behind a desk. A project study on marabou storks and electrical line accidents opened his eyes to the connection between his technical work and the beauty of birding and tourism. This realization inspired him to transition from a long-standing career in electrical engineering to the dynamic world of safari guiding, where he can share his love for Uganda’s diverse landscapes—from savannahs to lush forests—with travelers from all walks of life.
Each safari Eric leads is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to engage with guests, exchange stories, and explore the wonders of nature together. His extensive experience in guiding has equipped him with the knowledge to ensure that every client enjoys a detailed and enriching experience, especially those with a passion for birdwatching, which remains his personal favorite aspect of guiding.
