Li Le
Le has spent most of his life in Kenya, a country he proudly calls home. His parents moved to Kenya in the 1980s, and at the age of four, he joined them in 1992. Growing up immersed in the rich landscapes, cultures, and wildlife of East Africa, he developed a profound connection to the region—one that would later shape his career as a professional guide.
After completing his university studies in the United States, Mr. Le returned to Kenya, eager to contribute to conservation and sustainable tourism. In 2015, he began working with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), focusing on environmental and conservation initiatives in Africa. However, his passion for adventure, wildlife, and storytelling led him to pursue guiding full-time—a path he has followed for over two decades.
As a highly experienced safari and mountain guide, Le Li has led guests on extraordinary journeys across East Africa. His expertise spans adventure and luxury safaris in Kenya and Tanzania, where he has built a reputation for crafting immersive, tailor-made experiences. He is also a professional mountain guide, having successfully led numerous groups to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. His guiding portfolio extends far beyond traditional safaris—he has tracked gorillas in the dense forests of the Democratic Republic of Congo, navigated the rugged terrains of Ethiopia, and explored active volcano lava lakes in both Ethiopia and the Congo, bringing his clients face-to-face with some of the most awe-inspiring natural wonders on Earth.
Le Li’s commitment to excellence, safety, and guest satisfaction has earned him recognition within the industry. He currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Kenya Chinese Tourism Association, where he plays a key role in fostering relationships between Kenya’s tourism sector and the growing Chinese travel market. Notably, he is the first Chinese individual to achieve the Kenya Professional Safari Guide Association (KPSGA) Bronze-Level Badge, a prestigious certification that underscores his deep knowledge of East Africa’s ecosystems, wildlife, and conservation efforts.
Known for his meticulous attention to detail, extensive field experience, and genuine enthusiasm for sharing Africa’s beauty, Mr. Le Li is dedicated to providing exceptional guiding services. Whether leading a thrilling wildlife safari across the Masai Mara, orchestrating a challenging mountain expedition, or curating unique cultural encounters, he ensures that every guest leaves with unforgettable memories. His ability to bridge cultures, combined with his fluency in multiple languages, allows him to connect with a diverse range of travelers from around the world.
