Wanjiru, while not a certified safari guide, brings over 30 vibrant years in the Hospitality Industry, blending global expertise with a deep love for Kenya's heritage and nature conservation. As a seasoned Hotel Manager and Culinary Arts Lecturer, her journey spans continents, fostering teamwork and excellence in every endeavor.

She has a passion for children and, with that in mind, she joined the network as our first Safari Nanny. Her passion for education extends beyond classrooms; she champions children's rights as a Certified Chaplain, touching lives in hospitals, prisons, and schools nationwide.

Fluent in Swahili and English, and with a grasp of French and German, Wanjiru bridges cultures effortlessly. She’s also a seasoned traveler, passionate about exploring new places and cultures, always ready for the next adventure.

When it comes to caring for children of all ages, Wanjiru shines with her nurturing and attentive nature, creating an environment where both the young and the old feel cherished. From televised cookery segments to traditional language celebrations, she preserves Kenya's rich heritage with every dish and story shared. As a part-time farmer committed to 'farm-to-table' freshness, she embodies a holistic approach to life and learning, ensuring every experience is as enriching as it is delicious.

Wanjiru also has experience leading groups with disabilities including blind travelers. She is First Aid trained and an excellent swimmer - making her the perfect addition to keeping children busy and engaged on their safaris.
